Driving down SW Scholls Ferry, I noticed a banner on the side of the building that said State Farm Courtney Rogers. As I walked in the door Thursday August 27, I was warmly greeted by Valerie. Asked her if she was Courtney. She said she often was asked that, and stated that she worked for him. Asked to make an appointment. Valerie told me that Courtney was at the West Linn office today, and offered to help me and see what she could do, if I had the time. Impressed! Explained 45+ years as a State Farm Customer. Agent retired. Then found the one bad State Farm agent for the past three years. More than happy with State Farm over the years until the last few years, with non existent customer service, no tix, no accidents, auto insurance doubled in price and again for no reason the next six months would drop, and next six months would be higher than the last time, and more problems. Homeowners insurance started at one price for a year, next year doubled, and February 2026, doubled again. No claims. Having had State Farm for so long, I really didn't want to switch insurance. Valerie was my last hope. She smiled while saying that she would be happy to look at my account, also stating that maybe she can see something and I didn't need to switch to her agent? Abby came over to help, asking me if I minded. Embarassed at spending so much of their time due to multiple issues they found. Told them I would like to switch my agent to Courtney Rogers. They switched my account to Courtney Rogers, explaining that after things are transferred over that they will be able to get in and get my accounts fixed as requested. I felt listened to. They told me their goals were to make sure that all needs and concerns that I have are met, now as well as the future. Valerie and Abby are beyond what customer service used to be. And add to that knowledgeable, helpful, and more. Beyond ecstatic to have found Courtney Rogers Insurance and Valerie and Abby! One day in the near future as it was long ago, I have faith all my insurance frustration will be gone. Long ago, was on auto pay, paying $2 month service charge which State Farm has stopped. With my old agent, never trusted to have it on auto pay, billed since the amount seemed to change a lot. Old agents office told me that they do not have to notify me. As Valerie and Abby were transferring my account, my old agent called within 10 minutes leaving a message. Can't remember when the last time was that we spoke."
